SOLIDARITY WEEKEND PROTESTS WITH INAKI IN IRELAND

Protests were organized by the Irish Basque Committees in Belfast and Dublin on the 17th and 18th of February.

Dozens of people gathered in Dublin outside the GPO and in West Belfast's Falls Road to send their solidarity to the Basque hunger striker Inaki de Juana who is been already fasting for 113 days. Seven supporters fasted for 24 hours outside the Spanish embassy taking by surprise and obviously disturbing the Spanish ambassador. The public's response was hugely positive as dozens of signatures were collected during the weekend.

Recently he's been force fed once again and as he refused it actively he was tied to his bed. This torture is being held by the Spanish authorities while international concern is growing. Breaking news say that his situation is extremely bad.
